EXPW 3001 - Therapeutic Rehab/Modalities |
Prerequisite: EXPW 2001 and EXPW 2002. Co-requisite: EXPW 3011. This course explores the principles in planning and implementation of rehabilitation programs for injured athletes. Emphasis is placed on development of comprehensive, individualized rehabilitation protocols using a combination of therapeutic modalities and exercises. Specifically, students will plan and implement sport-specific functional rehabilitation programs based on predetermined therapeutic goals and objectives. Students will have opportunities for demonstration and hands-on learning of the skills learned in the classroom.
