Prerequisites: CSC 6780 or CSC 6730. Introduces principles, key concepts, and proposed methodologies underlying the design and engineering of autonomic computing and networking (AC) systems of autonomic computing systems. Investigates the origins, goals, and promises of autonomic computing. Includes complexity of autonomic computing, architecture, algorithms, enabling technology and development tools for autonomic computing.
