ART 3611 - Weaving II |
Prerequisites: ART 1350, ART 1050 or 2330, and ART 3610 or permission of instructor. Explore more complex double weave structures and how to design interesting fabric with structure in mind. Explore new ways of thinking about cloth that includes weaving with more contemporary fiber. Emphasis is on transforming one's design concepts into woven work that is sound in structure, visually exciting, and contemporary in design. May be repeated up to 12 credit hours.
