CHE 7230 - Adv Nanocomposite Engr Tech |
Prerequisites: ChE 6010. Nanoscience requires application of both continuum mechanics and quantum mechanics to aid materials design. The course will reflect interdisciplinary studies in composite engineering and chemistry to illuminate advanced principles of mechanics, characterization and thermodynamics in the emerging field of nanoscience/surface science. Modeling methodologies, scaling and modern processing techniques are taught.
