Prerequisites: Prerequisites:CEE 3110. Fundamental concepts; displacement-based finite element formulation using energy methods; one-dimensional and two-dimensional finite elements; modeling considerations and convergence; programming and an introduction to a commercial program. Students enrolled in the 5000-level course will be required to complete additional work as stated in the syllabus.
