|CHE 4210 - Chem Reaction Engr|
Prerequisite: CHE 3010, CHE 3021, CHE 3111 and CHE 3121. Chemical reaction kinetics and chemical reactor design. There is an emphasis on homogeneous reactions and ideal and non-ideal reactors. Introduction to laboratory experiments to illustrate typical situations found in chemical reacting systems: kinetics parameter determination, residence time visualization, and introduction to different types of reactors, (i.e., batch, tubular and gradientless).
