NURS 6614 - Primary Care Ped & Wmn Hlth
Prerequisites: NURS 6104; NURS 5009/6101; NURS 6102; NURS 6103; NURS 6610/6611. Corequisite: NURS 6615. This course focuses on care of women during developmental transitions in their overall health and wellness, including family planning and infertility issues, as well as pregnancy and menopausal issues. This course also focuses on advanced nursing and healthcare management of children and adolescents. Course content includes developmental, physiological, pathological, and psychosocial changes relative to health maintenance, acute and chronic illnesses, and developmental transitions within the family context.
