University GPA vs. HOPE GPA: The HOPE GPA typically counts every class you take after you graduate from high school. This means that if you have taken Dual Enrollment courses in high school, remedial level hours in your university coursework, or have repeated more than one course, your University GPA may not be the same as your lottery GPA. It is your responsibility to know your lottery GPA and hours. Students can review their lottery GPA via Eagle Online under Student, Student Records, View TELS Eligibility.

Grades: After every 24 attempted hours, your lottery GPA will be checked to make sure you have met the standards to keep your scholarship. The standards are:

• 24 attempted hour benchmark - 2.75 lottery GPA
• 48 attempted hour benchmark - 2.75 lottery GPA
• 72 attempted hour benchmark - 3.00 lottery GPA
• 96 attempted hour benchmark - 3.00 lottery GPA
• 120 attempted hour benchmark - 3.00 lottery GPA
• 144 attempted hour benchmark - 3.00 lottery GPA
